High production of shrimp and fish in intensive culture ponds immensely depends on the management of water and soil quality within an optimum range which is mandatory for better growth and survival of the aquatic organism. Prophylactic use of numerous probiotic microorganisms including yeast and bacterial strains has proven to control the different water and soil quality parameters using a different mechanism.
MULTI PRO™ contains a scientifically designed consortium of 16 different strains with a wide range of water and soil probiotics including Bacillus sp., Bifidobacterium sp., Lactobacillus sp., Saccharomyces sp., Pediococcus sp., Rhodobacter sp., Rhodococcus sp., Rhodopseudomonas sp., etc. which together work in harmony to maintain a comprehensive range of water and soil quality parameters within the optimum range. This multi strains of soil and water probiotic consortium have a broad-spectrum function related to controlling BOD, COD and production of toxic compounds such as ammonia, nitrite, and sulfide content in pond water by eliminating organic load. Further degradation of organic matter and recycling of its nutrients in the water column led to the reduction of sludge accumulation and improvement in water quality.
MULTI PRO™ help in stabilizing carbon to nitrogen ratio by utilizing an excess of phosphorus and nitrogen, along with controlling organic matter thereby preventing eutrophication of the pond. These combinations of multi-probiotic strains also help in the growth and survival of aquatic organisms by increasing the availability of nutrients and minerals to host organisms and by preventing pathogenic microbial growth through competitive inhibition.
MULTI PRO™ also noted to maintain of pond microbial community by controlling the growth of the pathogenic microbes by competitive inhibition thereby keeping the healthy and balanced microbial populations of the pond. Multiple functions of these unique multi probiotic strains give an overall better quality of soil and water for healthy shrimp and fish for their faster growth and better production.
Before stocking : 500-600ml per acre (7 days before stocking).
Day of stocking : 500-600ml per acre
Post Stocking : 500-750ml per acre on the interval of 7-10 days or as advised by the aqua technician.
For best results mix 1lit. of MULTI PRO™ with jaggery solution (1-2 kg of jaggary/molasses to 20 lit.) and allow to ferment for 24 hrs. at room temperature before pond application. For proper mixing switch on the aerators in the pond while applying.
