Karyotica Biologicals is a fast growing biotech organization seeking personnel for the following positions:

 
  • Team Lead - Fermentation :
     
    • No of positions: 1
    • Qualification: Ph.D or M.Sc/M.Tech with minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in the production of probiotics and enzymes.Candidate should have thorough production knowledge of probiotics and enzymes with upstream and downstream processing capabilities. Ability to train and lead the team to operate fermenters of 100L to 5KL size is must.


  • Fermentation Associates :
     
    • No of positions: 1
    • Qualification: M.Sc or B.Sc with minimum of 2 years of industrial experience Candidates should have experience of working in industrial fermentation setup either in upstream of downstream processing in production of probiotics or enzymes

  • Warehouse Executive/Supervisor
  • MARKETING HEAD (Technical Sales – India) – FOOD INGREDIENTS
     
    • No of positions: 1
    • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The role will require the candidate to handle and lead Industrial B2B Sales in the Food Ingredient category on a pan India basis.
    • Key Account Development, Business Development, Team Development will be the core of this role. Teams across the country will report into this role.
    • Responsible for Sales & Marketing (S&M) of food ingredients, excipients & intermediates to F&B& Confectioner, Bakery industries,co-operative dairies all over India & be responsible for all sales functions, achieving targets, formulating marketing strategies etc./
    • - Shall have good relationship and networking with bakery, confectionary, food & beverage industries
    • - Should have good relationship & networking with the distributors, dealers of food ingredients
    • - Creation of customers' plans and tracking their development
    • - Continuously improving his/her market knowledge, especially by discussing matters with customers
    • - Sales and advice to the customer portfolios
    • - Organize and conduct sales prospect
    • - Drawing up and negotiating sales proposals up to contract signing
    • - Providing an interface between R&D and the customers in specific development projects
    • - Answer any commercial or technical request and propose new solutions
    • - Managing the after-sales follow-up and monitoring customer satisfaction
    • - Responsible solely for the entire technical support to customers in India and International. This includes key customers, global customers as well as distribution customers.
    • - B2B customer interaction and understanding the need of the customer and suggest right kind of product solution to the customer.
    • - To collaborate with different stake holders within the organization resulting in quick wins.
    • - Conducting Industrial trials on customer premises for solution to customer.
    • QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • 1. Preferably B. Tech Food tech, BSc or MSc Food Technology from national institutes like CFTRI with MBA or relevant degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
    • 2. A solid understanding of principles of food science and/or bakery science, food ingredient functionalities, and food analytical techniques, are highly desirable.
    • 3. A good understanding of various enzymes and their potential applications in food is highly desirable.
    • 4. Managerial experience and proven skills as a people manager.
    • 5. Experience working with multi-functional teams serving customers.
    • 6. Self-starter with good organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
