Karyotica Biologicals Pvt. Ltd. is a prime Lipase B Manufacturer in India. Lipase is an enzyme which breaks down fats into smaller molecules which is called Fatty Acids and Glycerol. Gastric Lipase is made by cells in stomach. This enzyme specifically digests butter fat which is present in food. Lipase makes pancreatic lipase to act in your small intestine. At first, bile which is made in liver, is released into intestine which converts dietary fats into small fatty globules. These fat globules are converted into fatty acids and glycerol by Steapsin, which are small, energy-dense molecules. These Fatty Acids and Glycerol travel in blood and lymph vessels in order to reach all parts of your body. Lipase is present in blood, gastric juices, pancreatic secretions, intestinal juices.
Function of Lipase
Initially, lipase digestion will occur in interior of the small intestine. Bile salts reduce the surface tension of the fat droplets. Fatty Acids and Glycerol molecules are then taken up into the triglyceride molecules. Then they are taken up into epithelial cells which line the intestinal wall, where they are re-synthesized into triglycerides. At these sites, lipases in the bloodstream hydrolyzes the triglycerides, and the resulting Fatty Acids and Glycerol are taken up by the cells of these tissues.
